I like the idea. But, when I had raised a similar issue before, some member called it "like begging at Indian Temples".
I know we Indians are very happy as long as something is free, but get very upset when some contribution is asked for the service.

When you go for a loan against the credit card balance, there are two types.
1> 0% to 1.99% short term loan with 3% transfer fee.
2> 4.99% to 5.99% LIFE time loan with 3% transfer fee.
The key thing for both the loan is...
1> Never EVER use the credit card that you used to get the loan UNTIL you repay the loan completely..
2> When you go for the loan, ensure the balance on your card is zero. If you have a balance, ask them to pay off the balance from the loan amount and send the reminder.
3> Always pay on time at least the minimum balance. Never miss a payment. Ensure this credit card doesn't have universal default clause, meaning, if you are late on any other credit card then you are considered as late on this card.
If all the above three points are acceptable, I suggest CC loans. Otherwise, look for other options.

Can someone tell me how the dates get opened by embassy..
like they open slots for a month ...Like for the month of march do they open dates in Feb last week and we can make apts only for March something like that.

I have Labor (PERM) and I140 approved from my current employer.
can I apply trasfer and extension with new employer.

BUT, your new employer has to do your PERM and I140 all over again. you can retain your old PD though!!

I don't get what caused the sudden spike in the Master's quota. Earlier it used to be open for at least 15 days... Can it be because of increase in number of international students or people loosing in previous year lotteries going for Masters??? I seriously believe that H1B visa program needs reform - a valid job offer (read project for consultancies) must be necessary for applying AND a joining date within 2 months of starting FY. This is true madness going on.

I called the CBP office at the nearest international airport and the officer said "As long as they leave the country with in 6 months they are good. I don't have to come to the airport to get it corrected". He did not ask me the I-94 numbers or any thing. He just confirmed they are here on class B2.

Adding to what Kevin said about shadows... If you are using strobes or tungsten sources, placing them at the side, down low, of your object will create some nice depth.

I saw the suggestion of asking lawyer to send AP while you travel to India without it. Although it sounds like a good idea but could be dangerous. I had a situation last year when I travelled to India with AP applied for but not approved. Unfortunately i had my old passport and visa damaged in India. When my lawyer wanted to expedite AP so that i can travel back as my old Visa was damaged and the only way to travel back was to use AP, they found out USCIS has issued an RFE on AP. Though RFP was trivial and they only wanted a clear copy of first page of passport and AP was approved immediately when it was submitted.

I have a question about my Wife status(H4) here in United States, My I-485 (EB3/PD DEC 2003) got approved on July 16'th and my lawyer says they have applied my wife I-485 application on July 17'th after USCIS released rescinded July 2'nd bulletin.
My I-485 was applied before our marriage,Can anybody please share some thoughts on my wife status(H4) at present??.
Any help on getting more information will be greatly appreciated..My lawyer says she should be fine.please share your experiences.

EAD correction is very simple and they will fix with in 4 months worse case.
